In a beautiful ceremony filled with love and joy, Gina Schumacher, the daughter of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher, has exchanged vows with her long-time boyfriend, Iain Bethke.

The couple celebrated their union at Villa Yasmin, the family’s stunning villa in Majorca.

This gorgeous property, which was acquired by Gina’s mother, Corinna, from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez in 2017, served as a picturesque backdrop for their special day.

The wedding took place at around 4 PM on Saturday, with the couple saying "I do" under a beautiful floral arch.

The ceremony was reported to last about half an hour, according to Majorcan newspaper Ultima Hora.

Following the vows, guests enjoyed a delightful banquet accompanied by live country music, creating a festive atmosphere at the villa located in Port d'Andratx.

Family and Friends Celebrate

Attending the wedding were family members, including Michael's brother, Ralf Schumacher, and his partner, Etienne Bosquet-Cassagne.

They had also participated in a pre-wedding celebration at the upscale Mhares Sea Club, where the dress code was all white, on Friday afternoon.

While many details about the wedding emerged, there was no confirmation regarding Michael's attendance at either event.

Earlier in the year, it was speculated that Gina and Iain would tie the knot during the summer, and reports from the Majorcan press, citing German magazine Bunte, mentioned that a wedding planner from northern Germany was brought in to help finalize the celebration.

Gina and Iain have been together for nearly seven years, publicly debuting their relationship in December 2017 at an awards ceremony in Munich.

In September last year, Gina shared a sweet photo of the couple on her Instagram, showing their enduring love.

Michael Schumacher's Health

As the wedding drew near, questions arose about Michael’s health.

This year marked the tenth anniversary of his tragic skiing accident, and speculation about his attendance remained unaddressed.

Reports indicated that Michael had been moved to the family's Majorcan villa from their home in Switzerland, with claims that Corinna had set up a hospital within the property to accommodate his care.

Former F1 team boss Flavio Briatore's ex-wife, Elisabetta Gregoraci, revealed in a TV interview that "Michael doesn't speak; he communicates with his eyes."

Only a select few are allowed to visit him, underscoring the family's desire for privacy during this challenging time.

Michael Schumacher's life took a dramatic turn following a near-fatal accident on the slopes of Méribel in December 2013.

While skiing with his son, Mick, a seemingly routine outing turned disastrous when he fell, resulting in severe head injuries.

The accident led to multiple surgeries and a medically induced coma, profoundly affecting his health and lifestyle.

Over the years, updates about his condition have been sparse, as Corinna has prioritized maintaining the family's privacy.

Support from Family

Gina and her brother Mick have continued to support their father through these challenging times.

In January, they both posted heartfelt messages on social media to wish him a happy 55th birthday.

Gina shared a nostalgic photo from their childhood, while Mick celebrated their father's unwavering love and support.

The family’s resilience and bond shine through, as they navigate their new normal together, cherishing the moments they still share.

Ralf Schumacher reflected on the changes in his brother's life, expressing how much he misses the Michael of old.

He noted, “Nothing is like before. Life is sometimes unfair.”

Corinna offered a glimpse into her emotions during a Netflix documentary, stating, "I miss Michael every day. But it is not just me who misses him."

The love and support from family and friends provide strength as they face each day together, honoring the man who has brought so much joy to their lives.

In the face of adversity, the Schumacher family remains united, finding solace in their cherished memories and hope for the future.
