New Commandant Nuhu Bello Muhammadu Takes Charge of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps in Kaduna State Amid Calls for Enhanced Discipline and Professionalism

In a recent development, Commandant Nuhu Bello Muhammadu has taken over as the new Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for Kaduna State.

SC Habbeeb Badamasi, the Public Relations Officer for NSCDC Kaduna State Command, shared that Commandant Muhammadu addressed the officers and staff at the State Headquarters. 

He emphasized that discipline is crucial for the success and prosperity of any organization.

Commitment to Punctuality and Dress Code

Commandant Muhammadu encouraged all personnel to be punctual, dedicated, and focused on their roles. 

He highlighted the importance of discipline and commitment in their duties, particularly given their responsibility for safeguarding lives, property, and critical national infrastructure



He also stressed adherence to the dress code, making it clear that improper dressing, such as incomplete uniforms or inappropriate attire in the office, would no longer be tolerated. 

Exceptions would be made only for officers involved in Intelligence and Investigation.

Transition of Leadership

On September 6, 2024, Commandant Lucy Fakoya officially handed over the leadership of the NSCDC Kaduna State Command to Commandant Muhammadu. 

During the transition, she encouraged the staff to offer their full support to her successor.
